| Pencil Boards/Shitajiki |
|
|
Shitajiki, or as they are known in the USA as pencil boards, are plastic sheets that Japanese students use to put under paper to prevent marks going through to the next piece of paper or the desktop. They started off as solic colors, but eventually anime images were added to them. They make a wonderful collectible and are just fun to have around. Standard shitajiki measure approx 10" tall by 7.5" wide. Mini shitajiki are approx 7" tall by 5" wide. |
